What i learned from the organized crime presentation on Monday was that during the 1920s there were many people or groups of people that created organized crimes. Organized crime in my opinion is when people take time to think out a planned crime instead of just commiting a crime without a plan or much thought the only similar thing is that its all crime. What i learned in the presentation was during the 1920s there was a rise in the begining of organized crime and people who committed these crimes.
The people who made up the group of people who participated in the begining of organized crime of the 1920s are some common names know as John Dilinger ,"BabyFace" Neslon ,Bonnie and Clyde, and other notorious public enemy groups. These people participated in well thought out crimes that involved bootlegging liquor (which was illegal at this time period to sell or manufacture), bank robberies and other robberies and murders. The organized crime they were known for was known as organized crime because of the fact that they had planned out how to follow through with the crime without getting caught and having to pay a consequence ,and that is mostly what i learned in the presentation.
